安部総理は確かに憤慨を表明したけどそれは日本人が同じ気持ちって事にはならんで。

実際に、ワイらの大部分は人質に対して同情するどころか非難さえしてたわ。自らの責任でシリアに行って日本の大きな重荷になったという理由でな。

There were few criticisms against ISIS while many criticisms against the hostages, before the last hostage was beheaded.

You don't know and have not asked "most of us" so are generalising somewhat.　11,000 out 128,000,000 people is a very small proportion.
You are not totally wrong however, some people have done as you say but don't try to make out that the whole population is behind you. I live in Japan.

What happened to Mr. Goto was barbaric and unjustified. What happened to thousands of Chinese, Korean, Russian, SE Asian and western people at the hands of the Japanese was no different.

Oh no what happened to good taste : Money is used to acquire weapons and sustain their daily needs (transportation) training.. basically for terrorism fund etc.. thats why they ask for it..
by not giving money you cut their resources (although not entirely) .. its basically like a sacrifice for the greater good.
japan is known for harakiri which is dying for honor that why most of the people think that its better to kill oneself than bringing burden to your country..
theyre not weired.. theyre just different than yours..
